Our group of seven spent a great Saturday evening at this lovely restaurant. Both the food and the atmosphere felt like authentic Italian. We had three different pastas, all excellent, but the highlight was a venison ragu on polenta - stunningly wonderful. The service was attentive, informative, and a great part of the experience. We were visiting from New Zealand, and will make a point of returning to Ombretta on our next visit to Sydney.

We went here for lunch on the public holiday for the Queens Bithday weekend. The service started of fairly average but improved once we got a different waitress. The salad we ordered was nice but the lamb in the salad was very tough with little spice. It was supposed to be Morrocan Lamb Salad. The only bonus was there was no public holiday surcharge although the corkage for one bottle of byo wine was $4 per person.

I have been coming here for over 20 years. The food is always great. My favourite entree is spicy crab and favourite main is Balti Lamb. Generous portions and always too much food. Definitely one of the best Indian restaurants in the inner city.

I always wanted to try the food at Nawaz flavour of India and the first time I went there the experience was above my expectations, the food was delicious and very refined, the atmosphere is great and the service excellent. I enjoyed that place so much that I went there with friends a second time and I had the same experience and I was not disappointed at all. I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to try some exotic food with lots of flavour.

This has to be my all time favourite restaurant. The food is consistently excellent and the service always friendly.

All the dishes were packed with flavour and were presented well. We asked for medium heat level but their medium was spicier than average so opt for mild if you have low tolerance. The service could definitely be improved as it was slow and inattentive.
